W. Brian Harrigan

Chairman

Brian Harrigan has an extensive background in the Life, Accident & Health Insurance/Reinsurance, Healthcare and Employee Benefits Consulting field. His entrepreneurial focus has been on improving the economics of healthcare benefits and insurance transactions including emphasis on technology advances for the segment. Following his entrée into the insurance business with the Union Mutual Life Insurance Company (Unum) and ten years in Employee Benefit Consulting with Johnson & Higgins (Marsh, Inc.), he formed a number of successful insurance related ventures including: National Risk Transfer (stop loss underwriting manager), American Express Insurance Access (national life and health insurance product distribution), Dun & Bradstreet Plan Services/Self Funded Strategies (TPA business development). In January 1995 Mr. Harrigan was named President & CEO and Director of UICI, Inc. (NYSE:UCI, now HealthMarkets, Inc.), a publicly traded health insurance and financial services holding company. In 1998 he formed WB Harrigan, LLC to assist insurance and technology entrepreneurs with access to the private equity capital markets. In 2003 Mr. Harrigan formed ZON Re - USA, LLC a Personal Accident Reinsurance/Insurance underwriting and distribution platform. In addition to the chairmanship of Insur I.Q., Mr. Harrigan serves on the Board of ZON Re - USA, LLC and Insuritas, Inc. He earned his B.A. cum laude from Harvard College with a major in Economics. He also attended the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Edward J. Zecchini

President & Chief Technology Officer

Edward Zecchini has fifteen years of experience in the healthcare space and over twenty five years of experience in managing product development for real-time and complex applications. Mr. Zecchini was most recently President and Managing Member of IT Analytics LLC, a consulting firm specializing in due diligence, executive management and technical consulting in the healthcare marketplace. Prior to IT Analytics, Mr. Zecchini held the title of Executive Vice President of Touchstone Health Partnership, Inc., responsible for operations and information technology. Prior to Touchstone, Mr. Zecchini held the titles of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of HealthMarkets, Inc. (formerly UICI) from October 2004 through April 2007. From 2000-2004, Mr. Zecchini was EVP and CTO of Norwalk, Connecticut based HealthMarket, Inc. which was acquired by Dallas, Texas headquartered UICI. Preceding his tenure with HealthMarket, Mr. Zecchini was Vice President and CIO of Medical Economics, the leader in healthcare content. Prior to Medical Economics he served as Vice President, Operations and Product Development for SportsTicker, Inc. Mr. Zecchini received his B.A. in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is a recipient of the 2004 CIO 100 Award, in recognition for agile and flexible IT infrastructure and organization.

Phillip J. Myhra FSA, MAAA

Executive Vice President & Chief Actuarial Officer

Phillip J. Myhra, FSA, MAAA is a seasoned actuary and insurance officer. He most recently served as Executive Vice President – Insurance Group of HealthMarkets, Inc. (formerly UICI) where he was chief actuary and president of its subsidiary companies. Prior to that, Mr. Myhra was Senior Vice President – Product Development at Mutual of Omaha. Mr. Myhra has an extensive background in health insurance product development across an array of health insurance products: individual and small group health, Medicare supplement, long-term care, disability, dental, and ancillary products. While at HealthMarkets, Inc. he was responsible for the design, pricing, and administration of affordable insurance products for its agencies and customer segments. Mr. Myhra earned a B.S. from Moorhead State University and his Masters in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska.
