A brilliant technical architect and visionary, Shameem began his career as a software engineer with Datatel (now Ellucian). When he joined ZON Re and Group Benefit Options he dove into the industry learning how the operations of his organizations and those of their clients to deploy the latest technology for maximum efficiency. As a result of this work, InsurIQ was born as the commercial viability of the solutions he developed became apparent.
As CTO, Shameem sets the strategic direction for InsurIQ, advising clients and industry peers on modern scalable system design, integrations, and digital transformation.

Greg has held executive roles across life, A&H, and reinsurance organizations, beginning with the Chubb Life Insurance Group. Before co-founding InsurIQ, he served as CFO of ZON Re and Group Benefit Options, leading operations, compliance, and finance.
His background in statutory reporting, investment operations, and process optimization fuels InsurIQ’s mission to deliver practical, efficient solutions to carriers, TPAs, program managers, MGAs and agencies.
